Five design professionals have been selected to visit London and Stockholm this September as part of the Dulux DIAlogue on Tour program.

Organised by paints and coatings company, Dulux in collaboration with the Design Institute of Australia (DIA), the DIAlogue on Tour is a design tour scholarship exclusive to DIA and DINZ members across Australia and New Zealand, which will take five winners to London and Stockholm to meet and learn from European and Scandinavian design talent.

The winners were chosen on the basis of their responses to a series of questions on their own design philosophy and inspiration, and how they’d benefit from the opportunity.

The five Dulux DIAlogue on Tour winners are Carole Whiting (Carole Whiting Interiors and Design); Matt Gibson (Matt Gibson Architecture + Design); Neil Cownie (Neil Cownie Architect); Keri Cunliffe (Studio 106 Architect); and Scott Bagnell (One Alliance Project Consulting).

The winners will engage in open dialogue with their hosts, sharing ideas, showcasing Australia’s design talent, and returning home inspired to reinvigorate their own design style and career.

Winner and architect, Matt Gibson is looking forward to conveying global trends here in Australia. Excited about the opportunity to interact with Australasian peers and European design professionals, he believes the tour is an excellent chance to source inspiration to drive their practice’s progression further.
