The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is inviting individuals, practices, schools of landscape architecture, or collaborative teams to apply for the role of Creative Director for the upcoming 2016 International Festival of Landscape Architecture.
The 2016 International Festival of Landscape Architecture will be held in Canberra ACT from 26 October to 30 October 2016.
AILA will be hosting the 2016 International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) Asia-Pacific Regional Conference. The Creative Director will develop the content and theme for this annual event.
Designed to engage with landscape architects, students, universities, government, the community and the public, the Festival will feature wide-ranging events including a Research Summit, Student Charrette, Welcome Reception, two-day IFLA Asia-Pacific Regional Conference, National Awards Presentation, AILA Annual General Meeting, National Council and State Presidents meeting, public talks, tours and exhibitions.
The Festival of Landscape Architecture is expected to draw 500 participants.
Submissions for Expression of Interest must be received by 5.00pm AEST Monday 27 July 2015.
