A beachfront boardwalk, a modern equestrian centre and an inner-city terrace were among the winners of this year’s Intergrain Timber Awards.
Recognising the work of Australian and New Zealand design professionals, the annual Intergrain Timber Vision Awards celebrates advanced timber application and projects that push the boundaries of normal timber application.
From 191 entries this year, a panel of judges chose winners across six different award categories including: Commercial Interior, Commercial Exterior, Residential Interior, Residential Exterior, Landscape and this year’s new category – the Travel Bursary.
Site Office, Bates Smart, Watson Architecture + Design, Richard Kirk Architect, Maria Danos Architecture took home $2,000 cash, plus up to 100L of Intergrain products to the value of $2,500. Cumulus Inc. won the newly introduced award, the Travel Bursary, receiving a $15,000 prize.
