Entries to the 2016 Dulux Study Tour for architectural professionals will close on Thursday 17 September 2015.
The Dulux Study Tour is a coveted program that inspires and fosters Australia’s next generation of architectural talent. Dulux invites architectural professionals across the country to apply for one of five exclusive spots on the 2016 Dulux Study Tour.
The ninth edition of the Dulux Study Tour will take the young architects to Istanbul, London and Madrid in May next year, where they can experience firsthand some of the world’s most impressive architectural sites and meet global industry leaders.
The two-stage entry process into the 2016 Dulux Study Tour will require entrants to answer four questions in the first stage with shortlisted candidates progressing to the second stage. The selected architects will be required to submit a range of recent work to be assessed by a judging panel, which will decide the five final 2016 Dulux Study Tour recipients.
Dulux General Manager – Trade Division, Phil White explains that the Dulux Study Tour is a fantastic opportunity for young architects to access some of the world’s most impressive work, with this experience expected to inspire their own practice in Australia.
The 2015 Dulux Study Tour saw the five winners spending 10 days visiting leading global architecture and design firms in Tokyo, Paris and London. Bonnie Herring, one of the winners, said the program offered unprecedented exposure to great architects, practices and projects.
Eligibility
All architects and graduates of architecture up to 10 years from graduation from the tier-two or five-year Bachelor of Architecture degrees are eligible to enter the 2016 Dulux Study Tour.
Stage one entries close on Thursday 17 September 2015 with the shortlist to be announced on Monday 12 October 2015. Stage two closes on Thursday 5 November 2015 and the five successful recipients of the 2016 Dulux Study Tour will be announced at the Australian Architecture Achievement Awards in March 2016.
The Dulux Study Tour is a collaborative initiative between Dulux, the Australian Institute of Architects and EmAGN.
