Now you can prepare and cook dinner while watching tropical fish swim by, thanks to the new Ocean Kitchen from Kolenik.

Combining the kitchen island’s typical function with a fully functional aquarium, the Ocean Kitchen features an L-shaped counter top made from Corian that lifts up with the touch of a button to give you access to the tank below.

A sink and stove have been incorporated into the island unit, along with a generous amount of space for storage and equipment.

Created by Dutch designer Robet Kolenik, each Ocean Kitchen will be made-to-measure and is available in a limited number of editions.

Safe to say, while not for everyone, this kitchen counter and stunning statement piece rolled into one could be the perfect addition to the home of any tropical fish fans with the right budget.
