Molecule have designed the office of Escala Partners, a new wealth management company headquartered on Melbourne’s Collins Street.

Molecule’s design for Escala redefines the conventional sterile layouts associated with commercial offices with a key objective to make the wealth management company’s clients experience hospitality in a corporate environment.

Inspired by the cloistered clubs of mid-century Manhattan where doing business was a glamorous act and a handshake sealed a deal, Molecule used the setting as a take-off point for their design. Escala’s office dissolves the expected separation of clients (front-of-house) and staff (back-of-house), allowing views and access across the floor plate.

The project represents a new benchmark in professional services environments and workplace design, proving that serious and stressful conversations about money can also happen in an enjoyable environment.
