Several cladding products from Cemintel® were supplied for a five-house development in Brisbane to provide a unique and distinct finish to each home.

Building and design company Into Building wanted to create a unique look with strong street appeal for their five-house development on Brisbane’s south-side.

According to Cemintel Business Development Manager, Vicky Bowen, Into Building had five homes in a row but wanted each one to be unique, with a high-end, modern and industrial finish that would stand out in the market.

Building designer and builder, Mich Vukolic said the main challenge of the project was to deliver five different houses from the same base shape. Vicky suggested a few great designs for the facades, which helped the builder achieve the desired modern-industrial aesthetic in five different ways.

The homes were clad in a mixture of Cemintel products, including several from the Territory range such as Woodlands Teak and Quarry Urban Grey. Other products on the facades included Barestone, SimpleLine, Aspect, Edge and Mosaic.

Cemintel’s pre-finished, lightweight facades are modern, versatile and simple to install, providing a fresh and cost-effective solution for designers and builders. Vicky explains that the broad Cemintel product range allows different looks to be achieved from the urban concrete, sleek white and metallic finishes, to the natural and warming timber textures, with all products staying true to the industrial design aesthetic.

Mich added that the service from the Cemintel team was critical to the success of the project. Overall, he is happy with the finish on the houses and the feedback he’s already received, and is confident he will use Cemintel products again in future projects.
