KENNARDS Hire has expanded its big range of site support equipment with the introduction of large waste bins, which are on wheels and can be pushed around. Available in two sizes, 1.4m3 and 0.7m3, the bins are often used in conjunction with larger building waste skips. After a successful trial in Adelaide, they are also now available from Kennards Hire centres in Sydney, and will be progressively introduced across the company’s network of hire centres. An advantage is their non-marking rubber wheels, which makes them useful for building and maintenance work in shopping centres and offices. Both bins will fit into a goods lift, and the smaller model can pass through a standard doorway. They are designed to be self-tipping, but some hirers use a forklift with a fork rotator to empty them.
