The International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) is a world-class exhibition and convention centre, built as part of the broader multi-billion-dollar transformation of Darling Harbour.
Designed by Hassell and Populous, and developed by a consortium of companies including Lend Lease, ICC Sydney consists of state-of-the-art structures that can host everything from global summits to rock concerts.
The building required a huge number of services, which meant there were many service penetrations. Project plumber Boone and Willard installed around 8000 Promat fire collars of various types and thousands of other penetration seal products throughout the building as part of the firestopping project.
These penetration systems were selected because Promat Australia offered a solution for every situation, which meant the installer had to only deal with one supplier and one set of certifications.
