Redstar Equipment donated a pump to the Brainchild Foundation for inclusion in a silent auction at the Magical Stars Gala Ball.
The Brainchild Foundation is a charitable organisation established in 2010 with the aim of helping children affected by brain and spinal cord tumours, and their families. The Foundation is a community of medical professionals, dedicated parents and friends of children affected by tumours of the brain or spinal cord.
The Brainchild Foundation was able to raise $40,000 at the event. The money will be used to continue support for the families of children who are undergoing treatment for brain and spinal cord tumours, both locally and regionally. It will also enhance their educational scholarship scheme and enable Brainchild to continue providing grants into research of better cures and treatments for the diseases.
