The KEY-LOCK® suspended ceiling system, steel stud drywall framing system and EXANGLE finishing sections from Rondo were specified for a high school construction project in Baldivis, Western Australia.
Designed by award-winning architects JCY and built by Pact Construction, the $44 million Baldivis Senior High School project aimed to provide the students of Rockingham with state-of-the-art facilities to ensure their academic excellence.
Rondo provided technical design specifications for the development and execution of a saw tooth ceiling featured in the main areas of the school building. Rondo’s popular KEY-LOCK® suspended ceiling system, steel stud and track, and EXANGLE products are featured throughout the internal building frame.
The high school has also incorporated a number of unique design features such as the chequer plate pattern formed in the concrete panels of the main external walls and repeated throughout the interlinking walkways, canopies and staircase balustrades.
