High quality laminate surfaces from Wilsonart® were creatively used in interior design works at the Ibis Styles Hotel in Lansvale, Sydney. Part of the AccorHotels chain, the hotel is located close to Liverpool, South West of Sydney.
Wilsonart’s laminates were installed on the new reception desk at the hotel as well as in the bar area as cladding, and in the gaming location as wall furnishings. Design overhaul was a key objective of the refurbishment project at the Ibis Styles Hotel with Wilsonart’s striking laminate surfaces helping achieve the desired goals of a contemporary, smarter and cohesive look for the international hotel brand.
Both the hotel’s management and guests appreciated the choice of the laminates. Fazila Farhad, managing director at Ibis Styles Hotel, loved the striking colour and texture of Wilsonart’s laminates.
Wilsonart’s Metalaminate in Harbin, a metal laminate surface in a stunning bright turquoise and copper combination, was finalised for the hotel’s busy reception area.
Wilsonart’s Colombian Walnut was chosen for the bar area. A high pressure laminate with AEON Scratch & Scuff-resistant performance, Colombian Walnut delivers unique wear characteristics in a textured gloss finish and provides a warm sophisticated vibe. Warm white LED lighting placed between the sheets of laminate on the front of the bar, adds to the cosy atmosphere. This look was continued into the award-winning Milano Restaurant.
Wilsonart Colombian Walnut was also added to the walls and countertops of the hotel’s TAB gaming room.
