The owner of a new childcare centre located in a multi-storeyed office building had three Saniflo systems installed to address the challenging plumbing connections.
The Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre was set up by owner Nasser Benjamin in a multi-storeyed office building where there was no easy access to sewerage, with tenancies below additionally presenting challenges. He needed to get the plumbing sorted for the kitchen, sinks and toilets before beginning operations.
Having worked with Saniflo twice in the past, Nasser Benjamin knew they could solve his problem without the need to drill through the post-tension concrete slab to the tenancies below. Saniflo recommended Sanispeed for the kitchenette, Sanicom for the main kitchen and Saniaccess 2 for the children’s toilets.
Sanispeed
Greg Waters, Technical Manager Saniflo Australasia says the Sanispeed is their largest selling product as well as their smallest commercial greywater pump. Sanispeed has been installed in several commercial office kitchens and small cafes, thanks to its ability to handle higher temperatures better than the domestic range.
Sanispeed commercial greywater pumps can be connected to the dishwasher, glasswasher, washing machine, kitchen sink, shower, vanity basin, bath and coffee station in areas without plumbing access. Presenting the perfect solution for a low to medium use commercial kitchen, office, café or bar, Sanispeed pumps 7m vertically, 90m horizontally, or lesser combinations of both.
Saniaccess 2
According to Greg Waters, Saniaccess 2 macerator pumps maximise ease of access for servicing the blades and electrical chamber via panels on top of the unit. He adds that the pump is ideal for childcare centres, commercial applications, or any application with high potential for blockages.
Saniaccess 2 can be connected to WCs and vanity basins, and can pump up to 5m vertically, 100m horizontally, or lesser combinations of both.
Sanicom
Greg Waters explained that the Sanicom was chosen for the kitchen because of its ability to handle higher volumes of incoming waste and higher temperatures along with greasy waste.
Sanicom can be connected to multiple sinks, coffee stations, commercial kitchens, dishwashers, glasswashers, washing machines, baths and showers. This range of mid-sized commercial greywater pumps can handle higher temperatures between 35°C and 90°C, and pumps up to 8m vertically, 100m horizontally, or lesser combinations of both.
