Award-winning architect Max Granger and CCAA Construction Solutions engineer, Komal Krishna, are presenting a seminar on design and construction of flood-resilient housing.
The House for Flood-Prone Areas seminar is aimed at Victorian builders, architects, engineers, council staff and certifiers and will be held in Melbourne on April 30.
The seminar aims to give participants a better appreciation of the challenges of building homes in flood-prone areas and a clearer picture of how concrete construction solutions can be economically adapted for these sites.
The seminar takes place at the Carlton Brewhouse in Abbotsford from 4.30 to 7.30pm. Cost is $20 for CCAA members and students, $30 for non-members.
