John Choi, James Grose and Chris Bosse will quite literally represent Australian architecture on the world stage in November when they lead discussion seminars at the World Architecture Festival (WAF).

The WAF organises recently announced the seminar programme for this year’s event which will run alongside the annual WAF Awards and exhibition displays at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from 4 – 6 November. (See how Australia dominated the 2015 WAF Awards shortlist here.)

The list of speakers features some of the world’s premier architecture practices including BIG, SOM and Manuelle Gautrand, but also includes a few Australians among the mix.

CHROFI Principal John Choi will join Sasa Radulovic and Johanna Hurme of 5468796 Architecture on 4 November to discuss the decisions and projects that elevated their business to a different level either commercially or professionally. Their talk, titled Game changers – getting to the next level, brings extra weight considering CHROFI was the recipient of a 2014 WAF Award for their Lune de Sang Sheds project.

James Grose, Principal at BVN, will join world-famous Atelier Arcau on the following day and will also lead the discussion on the topic of Game Changers. Chris Bosse of LAVA, who was recently thrust into the spotlight when his concept to redesign Tao Gofers’ Sirius apartments in Sydney made headlines, will lead a discussion titled Berlin and Rio.

Other highlights include a variety of keynotes from Charles Jencks, Kai-Uwe Bergman (BIG), Manuelle Gautrand and Scott Duncan (SOM)
