The inaugural Eat-Drink-Design Awards is calling for entries from Australia and New Zealand's best hospitality projects.
Entry is open to all Australasian-based and international design professionals for hospitality projects in Australia or New Zealand
Organisers Architecture Media say the aim is to present a wide range of hospitality environments including bars, nightclubs, fine dining, restaurants, cafes, retail spaces and pop-up installations.
Entry submissions will close on Friday 27 July 2012 and results will be announced in Melbourne on Tuesday 23 October 2012.
The projects must be completed between 1 May 2010 and 30 June 2012.

Award will be presented in six categories:
Best Bar Design
Recognises achievement in bar, cocktail lounge or nightclub design.
Best Restaurant Design
Recognises achievement in restaurant design.
Best Café Design
Recognises achievement in cafe, tea house or coffee shop design.
Best Temporary Design
Recognises achievement in the design of temporary spaces, pop-ups, mobile food vehicles, marquees, promotional installations, VIP lounges and market stalls.
Best Retail Design
Recognises achievement in the design of food and/or drink retail spaces including shops, supermarkets, delicatessens, providores, bottle shops, cellar doors, food markets and food courts.
Best Visual Identity Design
Recognises achievement in the design of a visual identity or collateral for a single food and/or drink venue or shop including logos, websites, menus, wine lists, stationery, signage, uniforms, coasters, placemats, books, style guides and any other visual material. Packaging for food and drink not associated with a single venue or shop is not eligible.
