These spectacular street art images were created by NASA scientific space illustrator cum architect, Kurt Wenner, who uses a style known as anamorphic street painting.
Wenner creates fantastic renditions, inspired by Italy’s frescoed ceilings. Painting between three and five square metres a day, he sometimes working under a tent to protect his artwork from the rain.
“Even as I’m creating a new part of the picture, I can see the finished parts are already fading. I’m not disappointed when it washes away because street painting is performing art; it’s very much like attending a symphony,” Wenner said.
