Aerogels Australia 's Spaceloft is a flexible, nanoporous aerogel blanket insulation developed to reduce energy loss while conserving interior space, due to its ultra thin construction.
Ideal for use in a range of residential and commercial building applications, Spaceloft insulation blankets are suitable for use in temperature ranges from -40°C to 200°C.
They are only 5mm or 10mm thick, and offer a number of beneficial features, including:
- low thermal conductivity
- high R-value, with no reduction with water ingress
- 50+ year life with only 2% reduction in thermal performance
