AllightSykes has entered into a strategic distribution partnership with
UK-based manufacturer Morris Site Machinery for the SMC line-up of LED, solar
and metal halide towers.
Making an impact in the metro mobile lighting space, Allight announces
that it will distribute the SMC range from the start of 2015 throughout
Australia and New Zealand. Under the terms of the agreement, the nine-strong
SMC line-up will slot into the Allight range alongside the world-leading MineSpec
models.
Also to be distributed throughout the AllightSykes network of active
overseas territories, the new range will be available in South East Asia, the
Americas, the Middle East and Africa. The best-selling 4kW TL-90 LED and metal
halide variants and the solar-powered option will offer construction and civil
works customers a robust, safe and economical European alternative to the
influx of towers from the USA and China.
Grant Mack, AllightSykes GM - Mobile Light explains that they have been
searching for a suitable metro lighting partner for some time, adding that the
SMC brand not only features advanced technology but also shares Allight’s core
values and commitment to innovation and quality.
Underlining the importance of securing the right partners in business, Morris
Site Machinery Chief Executive Chris Morris comments that the new partnership
with Allight locks down a very important part of the world for them, helping
them strengthen their hold and impact in emerging territories.
The SMC range of mobile lighting towers features British-built
durability, a small footprint and whisper-quiet sound levels of just 60dBA (at
seven metres), making it the brand of choice for projects such as metropolitan
road works around Europe and Russia, where noise restrictions pose a problem
for many other tower brands.
The 2015 SMC TL-90 is compact in design, economical in operation and powered
by a clean, quiet, fuel-efficient Kubota D905-BG engine, and comes with a fuel
spill containment tray as standard. The TL-90XTRA comes with four efficient
1000w metal halide lamps and the TL-90LED with five 240w LED lamps. All models
have hydraulic mast raise and light tilt features.
