VapourTech Wall sets a new standard for vapour permeable wall insulation. Tailored for use behind all types of cladding and in various wall systems in Climate Zones 2-8, this product boasts Air Barrier, Water Barrier and Class 4 Vapour Permeable classifications. The core non-woven structure allows for the absorption and diffusion of very high levels of water vapour, effectively controlling condensation risks while preventing outside liquid water penetration. Additionally, VapourTech Wall is chemically non-reactive in conjunction with treated timber and resistant to salt conditions near coastlines.
VapourTech® RWC: Pioneering vapour permeable roof and wall insulation
Ametalin’s VapourTech RWC (Roof Wall Commercial) represents a breakthrough in vapour permeable roof and wall insulation. Specifically designed for commercial and residential roofs, facades, and wall systems in Climate Zones 2-8, this pliable building membrane serves as an Air Barrier, Water Barrier, and Class 4 Vapour Permeable solution.
With an outstanding permeance rating, VapourTech RWC meets the requirements of the NCC 2022 in ABCB Climate Zones 4-8 and is suitable for use in ABCB Climate Zones 2-8. The product acts as an all-weather barrier, preventing air, wind-driven rain, and dust penetration from the exterior of the building envelope.
VapourTech RWC is non-conductive, exhibits excellent UV resistance, and remains chemically non-reactive in conjunction with treated timber, ensuring durability and performance. Its applicability extends to diverse conditions, including those near coastlines with salt exposure.
