Ducting cradles available from Anchorage Group Pipe Supports are
designed for ductwork applications with minimal lateral movement and where the
mass of the duct can hold itself in position.
Since ductwork cradles do not have a clamp or guide assembly to rigidly
hold the pipeline in the desired location, pipe cradles are used to accommodate
a reasonable degree of longitudinal expansion and contraction of the duct or
pipe. Designed as very cost-effective support structures for ductwork, these
cradles provide a level of flexibility to function in areas of seismic
instability.
Pipe and ductwork cradles from Australian pipe supports and pipe saddles
specialist, Anchorage Group provide a cost-effective means of supporting
pipelines and ducting from 500mm diameter through to 1.5 metres. Designed and
manufactured in Australia, the pipe cradles are supplied with a standard
baseplate for welding to a fabricated support.
Anchorage Group can also fabricate custom cradles on request, including
hanger brackets or stand elevations. Slotted or punched baseplates can also be alternatively
provided for bolting the cradle to a concrete plinth or steel support
structure.
Key features of Anchorage Group pipe cradles include mild steel construction;
durable hot dip galvanised finish as standard; and also available in
wet-sprayed or powder-coated finish in a range of colours to complement site
aesthetics and meet architectural requirements.
Anchorage Group also produces stainless steel pipe cradles for maximum corrosion
resistance in harsh environments.
