Centique and FM Mattsson join the Award family of brands as of February 1, 2006.
Belwar Industries Pty Ltd, trading as Award, purchased the well known Centique and FM Mattsson businesses from Classic Australian Building Products (CABP) who will now be focusing on their Weathertex business.
Award is a multimillion dollar manufacturer and importer of tapware and bathroom related products, servicing mass merchants, retail hardware and plumbing outlets nationally, as well as exporting to New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and South Africa. Its product portfolio now includes Award branded bathroom accessories, bathroom cabinets, mirrors, mirror tiles, storage products, bathroom safety products, wardrobe and shower hardware; Bastow tapware and bathroom accessories; Centique tapware and bathroom accessories; and FM Mattsson single lever mixer taps and pressure balanced thermostatic mixing valves (PBTMVs).
The word from Award is “business as usual”. Customers who purchased Centique and FM Mattsson product from CABP up until January 31 just need to divert their orders to Award Customer Service.
