Paints from Bauwerk Colour were used in interior and exterior applications during the renovation of St Mary’s Cathedral in Perth, Western Australia. Bauwerk paints were specified throughout the multimillion dollar renovation of the historic cathedral where some of the older parts dated back to 1865. Over the years, several new extensions and additions have been added seamlessly with the use of Bauwerk paints.
Working in collaboration with the architects and builders, Bauwerk Colour was able to provide a perfect match to the original stone.
Three coats of Bauwerk Wheat and Sandalwood Outside Paint were used on the exterior to replicate the look of stone.
Similarly, Bauwerk paint was also used throughout the interior where two coats of Bauwerk Eggshell Inside Paint were applied. No undercoat or sealer was required for this project.
