Desso has extended its Carpetecture Transitions Collection with the introduction of four new carpet tiles designed to reflect the best of nature indoors.
Transitions in Structure is a collection of four new carpet tiles designed to reconnect people with nature. The four carpet tiles, Salt, Rock, Desert and Grain bring organic beauty to office workspaces and help create flexible spaces to work, meet or quietly contemplate.
The new collection is sensitive to the environment, reflecting the ever-changing world where natural resources are becoming increasingly scarce. Combining the latest ideas in interior design with that of a circular, regenerative economy, the new Transitions in Structure carpet tiles contain on average 50% positively defined recycled content according to Cradle to Cradle principles.
Products with Desso EcoBase backing are produced with 100% recycled chalk sourced from drinking water companies. The new Transitions in Structure collection is supplied with Desso ProBase as standard with the bitumen based backing able to gradually hold more positively defined recycled content. This collection is also alternatively available with an EcoBase backing featuring 100% recycled chalk.

Salt is a two-tone, high/low structure carpet tile with a natural organic structure that helps inject subtle colour into a workplace design scheme to accentuate furnishings. Salt is available in six neutral and vibrant shades.
Rock comes in twelve complementary hues to sit alongside the distinctive Salt tile to create zones for contemporary and impactful interiors.
Desert is a textured, non-directional carpet tile that creates a dynamic floor with a different effect experienced from every angle. Desert’s subtly layered organic design is available in a choice of nine weathered shades ranging from muted mushroom to deep charcoal.
Grain has a natural, free-flowing pattern that adds subtle movement by softening the edges of the interiors and inviting nature inside. It is available in a choice of twelve colourways in both neutral and vivid shades.
