Providing a truly environmental alternative to hardwood flooring, BT Strand is a very high density, high quality bamboo floor that has the look and feel of traditional timber floors but are made from sustainable strand-woven bamboo.
The BT Strand bamboo flooring collection is available in three options: solid 12mm thick, solid 14mm thick or engineered 15mm thick strand-woven bamboo. The 12mm BT Strand bamboo flooring product in coffee colour was chosen for the Lush store in the Macquarie Centre.
The coffee colour is a light amber tone achieved by a carbonisation process with the colour being impregnated into the bamboo unlike stained boards.
According to Daryl, Lush’s Visual Merchandiser, bamboo was a natural choice when they sought an environment-friendly option.
