New from Fieger Louvre Australia , the Fieger All Glass Louvre Window system was developed with the aim of reinventing the conventional louvre window but giving it a new face.
In the process of designing the Fieger All Glass Louvre Window system, Fieger Louvre placed great emphasis on harmonising the already proven elements of the Fieger Louvre Window system with the newly developed components. The result is a new system that combines the functional advantages and high quality of Fieger Louvre Windows with the optical advantages of frameless glass.
Installed in double-skin facades, Fieger All Glass Louvre Windows are an ideal ventilation solution for modern design buildings. They ensure a comfortable atmosphere at all times, reducing energy requirements in winter by keeping heat in, and keeping rooms cool while still supplying fresh air in summer.
Smoke control was also carefully considered in the design of the Fieger All Glass Louvre Window system, with a controllable ventilation approach being taken. A maximum ventilation free area combined with the short time required to open them make Fieger All Glass Louvre Windows particularly effective for the removal of smoke and gases.
The individual, frameless louvres in the Fieger All Glass Louvre Window system create a homogeneous glass surface that provide optimal transparency and light transmission. The window frame is set flush with the all glass louvres, which blend harmoniously into the appearance of the facade.
As they are manufactured according to specification, the number of louvres in any All Glass Louvre Window can be changed based on an optimum louvre height between 170mm and 300mm. They can be glazed with single glazed safety glass or laminated safety glass, and each louvre has two holes on each side to fix the stainless steel brackets.
Overlapping louvres are standard for the Fieger All Glass Louvre Window system, however alternatives are available on request, such as interlocking louvres and fixed louvres.
