This Western Australia Government Primary School’s indoor court area was creatively designed by DWA Architects to facilitate, aid, and motivate the student’s learning process, acknowledging that learning can occur anywhere and at any time, thus providing conditions where learning opportunities can be varied and purposeful without compromising student safety.
Forbo’s Flotex flocked flooring was chosen for the school's indoor court area due to its unique construction. It is a textile floor that performs like a resilient one, making it extremely hardwearing for intense use. Additionally, it is allergy- and asthma-friendly and slip-resistant when both dry and wet.
In future, rollouts of new government primary schools will feature Flotex in their indoor court areas.
The hand-cut court areas outlined on the floor were installed by the highly skilled Flotex installers from Carpets Online.
