GB Masonry has launched a new DIY Fence Stone Wall System available in attractive reconstituted sandstone blocks.
The DIY Fence Stone Wall System which incorporates purpose made pier blocks is ideal for between wall panels, end of walls at gate openings and requires no bricklaying skills.
According to Eva Castle, QLD marketing manager, the new DIY Fence Stone Wall System will enable unskilled home owners to build their own front fence or garden fence without the skills of a bricklayer.
“The system allows for each block to lock into its neighbour on each end as well as on the top and the bottom. Each panel of fence blocks is supported at each end by purpose made piers which enables fence walls to be erected up to 2.2 metres high. Higher fences would require an engineer’s design.
“We have produced an easy to follow brochure that sets out the seven steps to building a wall using the Fence Stone Wall System. The brochure details the different sizes of sandstone look-alike blocks available to build a beautiful wall. It also has a design chart showing the construction requirements for different height walls,” said Eve Castle.
“GB Masonry reconstituted stone blocks are being featured in homes of distinction with spectacular architectural results. The new Fence Stone Wall System is a natural extension to the GB Masonry range which includes stylish retaining walls.
“The new wall system can dramatically transform the overall street appeal of a home with a low garden wall or create an imposing look with a higher wall. A higher wall will act as an effective sound barrier to traffic noise.
“It is a smart do-it-yourself system that allows you to build your own fence without the cost of a tradesman and you can do it in your own time. Our sales consultants will be happy to explain to home owners how the Fence Stone Wall System works and how easy it is to erect,” Eve added.
