As part of its strategy to develop its domestic distribution network, Australian company Power and Data Corporation has announced Gilbert Lodge Australia as the exclusive Australian/New Zealand master distributor of Mainline Power.
Gilbert Lodge Australia (GLA), a division of Metal Manufactures Limited is a leading provider of high performance products and solutions, serving Australian industry since 1908.
Simon Toovey, Managing Director, Power and Data Corporation said that their alliance with GLA further strengthened the capability of Mainline Power in addition to reinforcing their commitment to meeting the needs of their Australian customers.

Mainline power track products have achieved recent success in Australia and key markets overseas including the UK, Europe, China and US.
According to Toovey, Power and Data has developed a solid reseller network in several overseas markets and their aim is to build on this success in Australia. Their strategic partnership with GLA will ensure that Mainline’s domestic distribution opportunities are optimised.
Over the past 18 months, more than 200 Australian schools and educational institutions including the University of Sydney and St Joseph’s College have specified installation of the Mainline power track system in classrooms, libraries and laboratories through the Federal Government’s economic stimulus packages.
In the past three months, the innovative Mainline B-Series Adapter System has won two internationally recognised design awards: Australian International Design Award and European Red Dot Design Award.
