The Green Building Council of Australia was established in 2002 to focus on the sustainability of the building industry and to encourage green building practices in Australia. They have developed the Green Star initiative that is an environmental rating system for the design and construction of buildings. They provide a range of training programs and courses online, offline and in-house that focuses on the Green Star rating system.
