In the first of our ‘Meet the Maker’ series for 2024, LightCo’s managing director Roy Doron had the privilege of visiting the Il Fanale headquarters in Treviso, Italy. As always, he immersed himself in the artistic process and the precision that goes into every Il Fanale creation. From the careful selection of materials such as copper, brass and iron, to their unique technique for oxidation that has been kept a family secret to this day, Il Fanale’s commitment to quality deeply resonates with our own values.
In their own words, the team at Il Fanale “prefer to use our hands, head and heart rather than machines”. Roy witnessed this meticulous attention to detail and care firsthand during his tour through the workshop, guided by co-owner and creative director of Il Fanale, Thomas Dalla Torre. Groove pendant light showcases a spherical structure and unique circular engravings, perfect for tailored cluster solutions. Its dark brown finish adds elegance, while versatile accessories allow for personalised creativity.
