V2000 glass louvre and balustrade systems can be installed with a variety of fixings that enables the load to be spread over the length of the balustrade instead of just at the post location. Therefore there is no need to core drill slabs which mean there is no interference with slab tensioning cables.
The posts are manufactured from extruded aluminium and can be spaced according to glass code and wind loadings. A full length lower ‘U’ channel clamps the glass in place, and with changed gasket type can accommodate glass thicknesses of up to 16mm.
Vollay V2000 glass louvre and balustrade systems also feature an extruded aluminium hand rail that measures 50mm in diameter, allowing for the insertion of a galvanised steel bar for added rigidity. This ensures that the balustrade and louvre systems are compliant with Australian Standard balustrade codes.
