Ozkit Homes has been supplying homes to owner-builders for more than nine years. Always developing new designs, the company has just introduced a loft range and a new pavilion range for that indoor/outdoor feeling. The pavilion range adds to its already extensive range of homes with the flexibility that steel offers.
Greater design flexibility is now even more possible with Ozkit Homes due to the introduction of the new Supaloc steel framing system and trusses. All the designs available can be supplied in steel, which enables economical transport to all eastern states. Ozkit Homes can now supply and deliver economically from Adelaide to Cairns.
From a simple double garage with a loft over it, to the large and stately Wollombi Loft, the loft homes feature a first floor truss system allowing spans of up to 7.8 metres. This allows the floor plan layouts to include large clear-span living areas, a requirement of many modern designs.
The loft homes were designed by the owners with the help of Ozkit Homes, to make both the supply of the home and building economical. Ozkit supplied the complete floor system for one of the homes and both lockup kits. These homes have been almost entirely owner-built and are a credit to the owners’ practical skills and hard work.
