Rammed Earth Enterprises was established in 1992 and specialise in building homes with the technique. Rammed Earth houses are elegant and monolithic. These houses have energy efficient climate control which allows them to store warmth during the colder months and also keep the interior cool in the warmer months. Rammed Earth homes can be built in cold and wet climates, mountains, on the coast and steep sloping areas. Rammed Earth Enterprises were a finalist in the Best Custom Built Home category Northern Region.
