RockHound created the very first Landscape Rake back in the 1970s which can be mounted to skid steers as well as tractors. Landscape Rakes clean areas of rocks, sticks etc leaving behind only clean soil ready from turf or landscaping.
Due to safety issues, flail mowers are now seen more often mowing grass on roadsides and parks etc eliminating dangerous flying projectiles.
RockHound has a huge range of skid steer & PTO driven mowers to suit small property owners right up to large scale fields or resorts or the tough roadside models designed to absorb all the punishment that roadside mowing delivers.

John McGrory from Lismore NSW took delivery of a 30EX for his Takauchi TB145 and said that he has seen & used many brands throughout the years, many of which cost much more than his RockHound but has never seen a mulcher built anywhere near as well or tough as the RockHound and looks forward to expanding his business with another RockHound & Takauchi in the near future.
The RockHound mulchers can easily handle up to 4” or 6” material (depending on model) and attached to an excavator has the ability to reach material many meters from the cabin down in creeks, under bridges, up embankments or trimming branches and when attached to a skid steer they can gain access to places not available to some tractors or excavators.
