Richwise Australia Pty Ltd has introduced a new environment-friendly premium plywood product that comes with a UV coating and PU primer on both sides. Suitable for laser cutting, the new Baltic Prime birch plywood is a ready-to-paint, BB-grade plywood product that can be used in a broad range of applications for flooring, walls and ceilings, and also as packing material and in component manufacturing.
The primer coated surface is fast and easy to paint, and also uses less paint, simplifying future finishing works. The PU primer coating protects the plywood surface against moisture and scorching when laser-cutting tools are used. Baltic Prime can be used painted or unpainted.
Key features of Baltic Prime birch plywood include range of thicknesses from 6.5mm to 24mm; and panel sizes of 1,200mm × 2,440mm or 3,050mm, and 1,250mm × 2,500mm or 3,000mm. The panels can also be supplied cut-to-size and machined to fit specific application requirements.
In accordance with the standard EN 13986, the formaldehyde emission of Baltic Prime birch plywood meets Class E1 requirements.
