Roof Space Converters staff are once again sending their good clobber off to the dry-cleaners to get their Sunday Best ready for what could be another memorable night at the 2007 Housing Industry of Australia awards. The gala evening will be held at Sydney’s Darling Harbour Convention Centre on October 27 and Roof Space Converters is in the running for two awards.
The company has two runners in the Renovation and Additions Under $150,000 category while the company itself, long a weight-for-age performer, faces the starter in the highly prestigious Customer Service Award.
Both RSC entries in the Under $150,000 category were also finalists at NSW Masters Builders Association Awards in August, with one of the runners, a $130,000 roof cavity conversion in a Sydney eastern suburb taking out the major prize.
Roof Space Converters is no stranger to the HIA awards, previously being a finalist in the Professional Small/Medium Builder of the Year and Housing Award for Renovations Under $2 million.
RSC’s Building Supervisor, Warwick Wrights, says his entire team is thrilled to be recognised both by their peers in the building industry and those clients who spruiked their deeds to HIA judges in regards to the Customer Service award.
“To be nominated for these awards in itself is a real coup for us as it recognises the quality of our work and service so obviously we are justifiably proud,” Warwick said.
