Tasman Building Systems offers their range of Swurve prefinished curved timber ceiling panels that adds a new dimension in interior designs.
The Swurve curved ceiling panels uses selected timber that has been steam-impregnated with natural atomised ingredients drawn from the air to modify the timbers’ cell structure and enable the curving process.
The ceiling panels use standard New Zealand sourced timber including Rimu, Rewarewa, Kahikatea and Meranti Grain veneer. Non-standard options are also available upon special request.
The Swurve curved ceiling panels are available in four shapes with double sided veneered plywood as a substrate. Swurve curved slats are also available in solid timber and in the same four shapes.
Lighting options can also be installed with the curved timber ceiling panels in order to create up-lighting or down-lighting features without charring concerns. Interior designs can choose from using low temperature LED strip or LED downlights with the Swurve curved ceiling panels.
The Swurve curved timber ceiling panels, from Tasman Building Systems, are compliant to AS/NZS 1530 part 3 1999 and the New Zealand Building Code for various prefinished veneer and solid timber options.
