Various panelling products from Ultraflex Panelling were specified for the office interior project at Workzone Perth WA.
Open Office Areas
Ultraflex Panelling redesigned their lightweight ceiling batten panels as fully accessible panels, sitting in a concealed aluminium T-grid suspension system. The new system continues to provide clean linear lines across the ceiling area while allowing easy access to the ceiling plenum at any point without the need for unsightly access hatches.
About 1500 square metres of Ultraflex’s lightweight linear batten panels were used in the application.
Spandrel Panels
Ultraflex’s slotted laminate panels were specified to cover the spandrel sections around the open stair voids between floors. The panels were custom made to the exact sizes required and routed with a V-slot to conceal the core board and supplied with pre-fixed black shadowline strips and concealed split batten fixings.
About 150 square metres of Ultraflex’s conceal fixed slotted wall panels were used in the application.
Main Entry Feature Wall Panels
Ultraflex also supplied their conceal fixed linear slot wall panels with a Plantation Oak natural timber veneer to match the timber joinery installed in the main entry foyer. Ultraflex’s drafting services were utilised for the purpose and custom made panels supplied ready to fix in place with no additional cutting required during installation.
About 40 square metres of Ultraflex’s conceal fixed linear slot wall panels were used in the application.
Main Entry Feature Ceiling Panels
Ultraflex’s slotted timber laminate ceiling panels were supplied for the main entry foyer of the building, with the panels featuring pre-fixed upturns to conceal the framing behind and give a floating effect to the feature ceiling area. Factory applied black SoundTex acoustic fleece ensured the required acoustic brief was met.
About 20 square metres of Ultraflex’s conceal fixed slotted ceiling panels were used in the application.
Understair Lining Panels
Ultraflex’s slotted timber laminate panels were selected to finish the underside of the stairs in the voids between floors. The panels were custom made in large format sizes to reduce the number of joins required, minimising installation time.
About 150 square metres of Ultraflex’s conceal fixed slotted laminate panels were used in the application.
Breakout Areas and Meeting Rooms Ceiling Panels
Ultraflex’s 2-pac polyurethane ceiling panels were specified for the breakout and meeting room areas on the upper floor to provide a high quality ceiling finish. The panels were supplied complete with concealed fixings, integrated access panels and black SoundTex acoustic fleece.
About 200 square metres of Ultraflex’s conceal fixed slotted 2-pac ceiling panels were used in the application.
Aluminium Composite Service Boxes
Ultraflex also designed and fabricated custom made service boxes from white aluminium composite panels to integrate seamlessly with their linear batten ceiling panels. The service boxes were designed to drop in between the timber battens.
About 50 square metres of Ultraflex’s aluminium composite panels were used in the application.
