One of Australia's oldest construction brands is changing its name as part of its most significant rebrand in nearly a decade.

Brookfield Multiplex will return to its original name, Multiplex which the company changed 10 years ago after Brookfield Business Partners acquired the business.

Brookfield still owns Multiplex and its Chief Executive Officer, John Flecker says it'll be business as usual for the construction company.

“This is a time for us to rebrand and to ensure our own unique construction identity both within the Brookfield group and with our external stakeholders as a global construction business,” he says.

“Aside from our name and logo changing, it’s business as usual. There are no operational or organisational changes being made.”
