The final writing workshop of the year for the wikiD: Women, Wikipedia Design initiative will take place on Saturday 14 November in Melbourne.

Anyone interested in writing more women in the built environment into Wikipedia is welcome to join the third Melbourne writing workshop at the Australian Institute of Architects cafe, Level 1, 41 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. Participants can join in person or remotely.

wikiD: Women, Wikipedia Design – Melbourne writing workshop

The workshop will begin at 11am with a short ‘how to’ presentation on writing and editing Wikipedia. Participants can stay as long as it suits them and help will be provided if required.

Things to do before attending the event:

Sign up first to get a Wikipedia user name.

Think about who you want to write about, and if possible, collect some material beforehand. See here for topic suggestions and references.
