Australian-owned construction and development group, Built has announced that Group CEO Brett Mason is set to step down after 20 years in the role.

To continue the company’s growth ambition, Executive Chairman and Founder, Marco Rossi, will take on the additional role as Group CEO, effective immediately.

“On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Brett for his dedication and commitment to Built, as well as the significant contribution he has made to the construction industry over the last 35 years,” says Chairman Wal King.

Marco Rossi, Executive Chairman and Group CEO, is looking forward to his new responsibilities at the company.

“With over $7.5 billion of work-in-hand, the strongest executive and non-executive management teams in the country, which includes the recent appointment of David Paterson as CEO of Construction, we are in a market leading position as Australia’s only digital-first contractor,” says Rossi.

According to King, Rossi’s input will be invaluable for the company’s future.

“With Marco’s vision for the future, coupled with recent changes to the group structure, now is the time for Built to enter its next phase of growth,” he says.
