Methven presents the new look Maku MK2 showering range featuring three shower designs in sleek, simple shapes and chrome with graphite finishes. Embodying the soft organic curves of flowing water, the new handset, hand shower and rail shower not only add to the Maku range of taps and mixers but also help to create a cohesive look across basins, baths and shower units.

Developed as a natural evolution of the classic minimalist style, Maku MK2 is a collection for those that appreciate modern elegance and technology. “The Maku range has always reflected the simple, gentler forms of water; however, it will now feature considerable upgrades, including the award-winning Satinjet technology,” says Andy Grigor, Head of Design and Innovation at Methven.

“Unlike conventional showers, Satinjet uses unique twin-jet technology to create optimum water droplet size and pressure, with over 300,000 droplets per second. The result is an immersive, full-body sensation that transforms your regular shower into an experience like no other,” adds Andy.

For a quick upgrade, the Maku MK2 handset is easily screwed onto existing hoses, avoiding the need for plumber’s fees and time spent waiting for an appointment. It also features a wider 105mm face for a well-balanced spray that creates superior body coverage, while the addition of a graphite faceplate makes it easy to clean.

For a brand-new look, the Maku MK2 rail shower, with its incorporated soap dish, makes for a stylish addition to any bathroom. The new design also champions functionality with a 1.5 metre hose, 740mm chrome plated rail and friction slider to suit the preferences of all users. Its adjustable brackets also make it easy to install as they can be lined up with existing holes.
