Operable walls aid a flexible work environment, allowing for either small, private spaces to work when needed, or larger spaces to collaborate and socialise with their colleagues. One space can be turned into multiple, smaller spaces, whether it is turning a large open plan area into a series of meeting rooms, or sectioning off rest, eat or play areas away from the busy working environment.

Operable walls allow a limited transfer of sound from the external office into the smaller individual space.

Konnect double-glazed operable wall

IBEX Interiors recently chose Bildspec to install a Konnect double-glazed operable wall at Rural Fire Service Glendenning (RFSG) to accommodate speech privacy and separation between two different working divisions of RFSG whilst maintaining connectivity through the respective workspaces.

Konnect movable, acoustic glass office partitions combine the elegance of glass with the reliability of a Bildspec operable wall. It allows for see-through connection of spaces with acoustic reduction properties.
