Safety barriers designed for pool compliance as per council regulations as well as anti-climb panels on balconies and balustrades require clear acrylic or clear polycarbonate sheets that can be cut to size and shape.

Allplastics Engineering has been providing this service for hundreds of residential, commercial and building projects over the last few decades. Allplastics has completed a broad range of fitouts from neighbourhood pool fences to high profile venues such as the Sydney Opera House where balustrades were installed.

Allplastics can provide a cut-to-size service as per measurements taken by customers. Alternatively, their experienced installers can measure and install these safety features utilising materials provided by Allplastics.

Both acrylic and polycarbonate are suitable for outdoor use. Acrylic is 11 times stronger than glass and will not shatter like glass. Polycarbonate is 250 times stronger than glass and is almost unbreakable.

For more demanding and high traffic applications, Allplastics recommends abrasion resistant polycarbonate, which resists incidental scratches associated with cleaning, handling and constant rubbing by users and patrons.
