The timber-look designs of Airstep’s laminate floors include the popular oak species as well as Australian species, which inspired the Eucalyptus Steps range.

Built tough for long-term durability, the laminate flooring is easier to maintain than many of the timber flooring materials replicated by the range. The highly durable AC4 wear layer used for Airstep’s MetroFlor 5G range for instance, offers superior resistance against daily wear, and scratches caused by pets.

Also designed for simple installation, Airstep’s laminate flooring can be floated over a variety of subfloors, including concrete; some like the TrendlineXL 5G range can even be installed over floor heating systems. Advanced click-and-lock technologies such as Elka’s simple Uniclic system simplify installation, especially for the DIY segment.

Airstep’s laminate floors achieve their realistic timber looks through the use of a technique known as embossed in register (EIR), which uses an embossing tool to push the paper surface forward, producing a raised image that adds improved depth and texture to the laminate surface. The EIR technique can also be used to replicate chalked or naturally rustic looks, commonly found in real woods and demonstrated in Airstep’s PERGO Natural Variation range.

Airstep laminate flooring comes with warranties of 20-25 years for residential use. Commercial warranties are available upon request.
