BlueScope Steel has recently published four more Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for TRUECORE steel, ZINCALUME steel, DECKFORM steel, and COLORBOND Coolmax steel products.

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an independently verified and registered document that communicates transparent data and other relevant information about the life cycle and environmental impacts of a product, including global warming potential.

BlueScope EPDs can be used to support life cycle assessments including embodied/upfront carbon, for end uses such as buildings, infrastructure and their components, as well as everyday materials, and may contribute points to rating tools such as Green Star and IS Rating.

Unlike industry-average EPDs, all of BlueScope's EPDs provide information that is specific to their products, so you have the confidence of knowing the results are representative of the product you have specified.

Check them out on SteelSelect here.
