Briggs Veneers features in award-winning Sydney restaurant’s interior

Lot.1 is a popular and stylish Italian restaurant located at 20 York Street in Sydney. Two veneer products from Briggs Veneers Pty Ltd were specified for the interior fitout of the award-winning restaurant. The venue combines a cafe, bar and restaurant.

Tasmanian Southern Blue Gum (Quarter-cut) and Silver Wattle (Crown-cut) veneers were used in the project designed by Enter Projects with Charisma Joinery serving as the joiner. The veneers were utilised for the ceiling, joinery, sculpture/ feature and wall panelling.

The restaurant won the 2016 Australian Timber Design Awards in the Interior Fitout – Commercial category.
