ShareCorian® adds luxurious vibe to reimagined ensuite
Corian® was used in various applications, including a vertically curved and fluted vanity, horizontal surfaces, and custom oval Corian basins, ensuring a cohesive and seamless design.
This ensuite renovation reimagines the space for a more open, luxurious feel. The original ensuite and walk-in wardrobe were combined into one spacious area, while the wardrobe was relocated to an adjacent wall in the master bedroom. Corian® was used in various applications, including a vertically curved and fluted vanity, horizontal surfaces, and custom oval Corian basins, ensuring a cohesive and seamless design. The textured effect created by the fluting adds depth and dimension to the Domino Terrazzo pattern, making it a visually striking feature.
The choice of Corian® continues the aesthetic established in a previous kitchen renovation for the same client, where a curved and fluted Corian® island was used. While maintaining the same design language, the ensuite showcases Corian® in a different colour palette. The material’s versatility and seamless joins make it ideal for carrying design continuity throughout a home. Additionally, Corian® is non-porous, making it a hygienic choice for both kitchen and bathroom applications.
This project was led by Rowson Kitchens, directed by Annika Rowson alongside her husband Brad. As a boutique business specialising in in-house design, manufacturing, and installation, Rowson Kitchens prioritises quality over quantity. Their passion lies in working with premium materials and pushing design boundaries to create one-of-a-kind spaces. Initially, fluting was done by hand, but advancements in their process have led to CNC machining for greater precision and efficiency.
The ensuite renovation exemplifies how Corian® brings elegance, texture, and continuity to a home’s design. The combination of curved and fluted details, seamless joins, and a harmonious colour palette resulted in a sophisticated yet highly functional space. With its non-porous properties and durability, Corian® remains a preferred choice for kitchen and bathroom applications, offering timeless appeal and long-lasting performance.
