Design update for ABLOY CY516 PD cylinder

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Australia announces a design update for our ABLOY CY516 Key in Knob/Lever (PD) cylinder on Protec and Protec2 systems.

To streamline the re-keying process, we have introduced additional slots at the rear of the housing for simpler snap ring retrieval. Additionally, the thread length of the cylinder drum has been reduced. All the changes have been made to assist with the overall re-keying process, ensuring an even more efficient experience for you.

The cylinder's overall dimensions remain the same.

This will be an ongoing change and existing part numbers will not be affected.
